    Boy’s Year 4/5:

Riverbend will be open to all hardball players with a reasonable level of cricketing ability (as per last year). There will be between 4 and 6 games played over 3-4 days, depending on the number of teams entered and the age group. The teams will drive down on the first day and return back on the last day (3 nights away from home – except Y4-5 only 2 nights)

Fees for the camp will depend on whether parent can assist with transport and other costs. Options are
    1. Option 1. Camp fees, van and trailer hire, petrol, balls and gear – approximately $270 per player for Yr 4/5, $337 for Yr 6 to Yr 7, $334 for Yr 8 and $402 per player Yr 9 to Yr 13. (assumes 11 players). Please note the manager will have to take a car down as van seating is limited
    2. Option 2. Camp fees, balls and gear – approximately $161 per player for Yr 4/5, $228 for Y6 to Yr 7, $225 for Yr 8 and $293 per player Yr 9 to Yr 13. (assumes 11 player)

Costs will be confirmed once player numbers and travel costs are established. Ideally we would like to have 12 players per team, however 11 will be permitted. Additional spending money will be required for any other food or activities. The camp fee includes players being fed and accommodated during the tournament. The cost of the coach and the manager of the team staying at Riverbend is included in the team fees (ie no cost for room and food)

Lots of information can be found at

To register your interest in going to Riverbend this season, please email Karen Kyle at Please provide Name, school year, email and phone contact details by 24th November

Each team will need a coach and a manager who will stay with the team (at no cost) - email Karen if you would like to be involved. Please note that if there is no coach or manager for a team the team cannot attend (preferably both, especially for the younger teams and the more parent helpers the better)
