Rotroua Cricket are exploring the possibility of developing a sports-village at Smallbone Park

"Rotorua Cricket are exploring the possibility of developing a sports-village at Smallbone Park in conjunction with Rotorua Hockey and Springfield Golf. There is still opportunities for other groups to come in. A working group comprising members of each sport have been working on the proposal for the last six months. Support of the concept has been received from the Rotorua Lakes Council and concept plans drawn up. The plan is to have a combined club rooms and separate buildings consisting of ablution/changing rooms/operational "game day" areas for hockey and cricket.
